Encourages healing by reinforcing the energy flow and correcting blockages in the “human energy field” or “aura” which permeates and surrounds the physical body. Improving the flow of energy in the energy field supports the self-healing capacity of the body.
Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things.
The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. If one’s “life force energy” is low, we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The quality of this life energy, our strength, depends on the energy we absorb through our food, through our breathing, and of course our emotions and thoughts. In short, the circumstances under which we live.
A Reiki session treats the whole person and can help ease tension and stress, supporting the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional. Another form of healing is sound healing. The gong is one of the oldest instruments, they are handmade and each gong has a certain frequency, which also has a unique effect on us. The sound and vibrations of a gong are primal sounds, and bring healing deep into the cells. The earth gong brings us into harmony with the motion of the earth.
It feels like coming home to yourself, it creates the space to be comfortable in your body, grounding, bringing balance and healing to the body. The earth gong mainly works on the throat chakra and the heart chakra. Keywords are nature, creativity, concentration, birth, youth, wisdom and experience. Her character is nourishing and heals the mother relationship. She brings us the balance we need for our purpose to live successfully. It gives us spiritual deep relaxation and regeneration of the body.
“The Gong is the first and last instrument for the human mind, there is only one thing that can supersede and command the human mind, the sound of the Gong. It is the first sound in the universe, the sound that created this universe. It’s the basic creative sound. To the mind, the sound of the gong is like a mother and father that gave it birth. The mind has no power to resist a gong that is well played.”
Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga
Another form of healing is through sound. Having had a deep psychological meaning attributed to them, the gong is a sacred and ancient instrument of healing, rejuvenation and transformation. Each gong is handmade, and each has a specific planetary frequency which has a unique effect on our whole being. The sound and vibrations of the gong are primal, and bring healing deep into the cells of our bodies, our mind and our spirit.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM HEALING SESSION
We begin with a conversation to determine where you are in the moment. Intuitively I tune into your energy field and play the gong according to what is going on within you and according to what healing might be needed. For example, when I tune in, I can sense which emotions are present; sadness or tensions, what you may be holding onto and where the energy may not be in balance, blocked or leaking. Every living thing that exists is surrounded by a universal energy field that connects and nourishes all life. This energy known as prana or chi, is the energy field that surrounds every being and that integrally supports the life process in all its aspects—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. After playing the gong, I begin to work in your energy field clearing out blocks or stuck energy.
When the flow of energy within the energy field becomes weak, unbalanced or blocked these weak points prevent the pure connection to the higher spiritual reality—the field of pure consciousness and your true self. This prevents the full and healthy expression of the living potential of the whole person and removes the natural condition of energetic health that is needed for physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. As a rule of practice, I always work in cooperation with your higher self, and on occasion, angels, archangels are present helping reinforce the healing process.
I continue until the energies are balanced – this is an intuitive process and only then do I end the healing session. We then have a conversation about what went on during the session, what messages came through to me and what I worked on. Follow up sessions are discussed and scheduled. During the next session I identify a meditation or yoga practices for you to commit to and use back at home.
